Excellent Introduction to Postcolonialism

This book was on the reading list for university so I had to buy it. I found that it was a well written introduction to the subject and in its clear down to earth writing lived up to the title Beginning Postcolonialism. The author John McLeod should be congratulated on writing an introduction that explains professional jargon without bias towards particular theories in the field. Perhaps the most useful part of the book is the suggestions for further reading at the end of each chapter for those that wish to look more closely into certain aspects of postcolonial theory.

Good intro book for my literary theory education.

But this was enough for me. Those wanting more opinions can follow the Many resources in end of chapter bibliographies, even with author recommendations.
From this book, I feel there are Many opinions on what to politically correctly entitle the "Post colonialism" field.
