The resources, guidelines, and advice given offers plenty of cost-efficient ways for start-up businesses that need to hit the ground running and don’t have a lot of time or money. Topics include press releases, article submissions, op-ed guidelines, social media, finding contacts, press kits, networking, product placement, partnerships, media etiquette and a whole lot more. In addition, the author dedicates a chapter to resources that will come in handy when developing a publicity campaign. In the book, the author mentions another guide (Crafting the Perfect Pitch: 34 Secrets to Landing Media Coverage on Today’s Top Newspapers, Magazines, and Morning Shows) that will be coming out soon and I can’t wait to read that as well.
